Saturday, The Hubby, Mike, and I drove down to our parent's houses. I "goofed off" with my mom (Gea-Mom) while Mike and Bob (my daddy) worked on Mike's mom's kitchen sink, washing machine and front porch.
We then went to Troy and had lunch at a Chinese buffet (Yummy!) Afterward we "walked off lunch" cruising through an antique store downtown. We saw lots of pretty things, but nothing we really wanted.
Then we went back to my parent's house for a rest. We sat on the couch and talked for a while and then decided to "go check on the menfolk", over at my mother-in-law's house.
My Gea-Mom gave Mike's mom a pair of red Capri pants. She really liked them. I believe they'll be used and were appreciated greatly!
The guys ran into a few snags while fixing up the sink, washing machine and "run-off" pipes. Gea-Mom and I ran up to Highland and got some "Liquid Plumr". We also got some chocolate goodies because we wanted them! We brought all the stuff back to the guys and the girls sat under the shade trees and visited. It was so nice!
My mother-in-law loves kitties and flowers. Here is Simon, one of The Hubby's old kitties and a couple of Momma-Doris' flowers.
When we got home Saturday night, Mike was pooped. He took a bath & shower. We then had dinner at the "Golden Corral". The Hubby drank 6 glasses of sweet tea and we shared a Carmel sundae. (YUM!)
Overall, it was a tiring & productive day. Mike & Bob helped Ms. Doris and Gea-Mom & I had a nice "girl's day". I thoroughly enjoyed my Saturday last week!
