Window Shadings Revisited

Okay, so my Daddy (Bob) emailed me yesterday, regarding the "shading" on his truck's windows. (see post dated 5/17 "Jen on Her Soapbox")

Coming to find out, he won't have to pay the $100+ fine IF he strips all the shading off the windows. It would've cost him a bunch to get it "professionally" removed, so he decided to remove it himself.

It just irritates the "poopie" out of me, still. With all the crime we have in "NEVERLAND", to pick on someone like my Bob is a travesty of justice. Why pick on someone who's shading is LIGHTER than other folk's shading? It really ticks me off. :

My Bob doesn't seem very upset about it now. However, I'm not quite as livid, but, I'm still kinda "ill". I was taught to "stick up for" my beliefs and to "express my outrage"when my, or someone else's, rights are trampled on.

Irritation! If the authority's spent HALF as much time patroling for REAL law-breakers, my neighbor's El Comino wouldn't have been stolen/stripped/dumped 35 miles from our home.

I will be the first to admit that police do wonderful jobs. They put their lives on the line and I ABSOLUTELY respect them for the priceless service. This wasn't a "priceless service", however. Like The Hubby said, the cop was probably nearing the end of his shift and had not met his quota. My Bob was the easiest target.

I know I should get over it, but I'm still quite "ill".
