This weekend was fun!
Saturday was a wonderful day for "The Boo".
In the morning, "The Hubby" and I went yard-saling. It was fun! I got some "goodies" for my parents and a couple of "Froggies" for myself! I enjoy yard saling so much, even if it's 9000 degrees!
Around 3:00 or so, Mike decided he wanted a Heath Blizzard(r) so we went to the only Dairy Queen in town. He ordered a blizzard (r) and I got a Carmel Crunch shake. When we got up to the window, the cashier told us the person in front of us had paid for our yummies! We don't know anyone in a black Audi, either. The fact that a complete stranger "picked up the bill", made my shake even sweeter. THANK YOU WHO EVER YOU ARE!!!
Saturday evening, we were going to go to the movies, but there's really not anything out we want to see that we already haven't.
So, we stopped in at a local grill, FLIP'S. They were sponsoring an antique car show. Here are some of the pics I snapped:
And this 1930 Model A was "Bad A_ _" according to "The Hubby":
It was hot, but well worth the 30 minutes we were outside. I can't function well in triple digit heat. I got sick to my tummy, unfortunately.
Sunday, we stayed around the house and were lazy. Lazy Sundays are nice, too! I was a little down, though. :(
It was a wonderful, relaxing weekend. I can hardly wait until Wednesday!
Happy Monday, all!

How nice to have your treats paid for by a stranger. RAOK are always a good thing. :)
Sounds like a fun weekend. How great to have someone pay for you for no reason at all...gives you faith that there are some wonderful people in the world, doesn't it?
I *love* antique cars! Do you go to the shows often?
