Yesterday, I was, of course, haunting the blogs of my buddies from "She Who Blogs".

I surfed into Sognatrice's blog "Bleeding Espresso" : http://www.bleedingespresso-sognatrice.blogspot.com/

She had posted a recipe including fresh basil and tomatoes. Two of my favorites! It was her submission for "What's Cooking Wednesday".

I decided then and there to print the recipe and made it for dinner last night. Seeing as how it was low in "bad" stuff, I thought it'd be perfect for "The Hubby". Oh, and some nudging in the right direction, helped too!


Well, anyway, here's my feeble attempt at "Fresh Tomatoes & Basil Salsa" (Pasta con pomodori e basilico) over Fettuccine pasta:
My picture isn't great, but "The Hubby" liked the dish and that's all that mattered to me. It was so good. Complete with tomatoes, onions, garlic, fresh basil and Parmesan cheese. Magnifico!

I will DEFINITELY make this again!
