My best friend, Monica & I, are going to the Alabama Shakespeare Festival, Thursday evening. My daddy entered a drawing for two tickets to a play at the theatre and won! He gave the tickets to me. So, in turn, I offered to take "Moni".
Moni and I have been best friends since 7th grade. 15 years now. Yes, I'm 28! She's one of a kind and I love her so much. I have always felt so "comfy" with her. She's ALWAYS been there for me, regardless. I love the fact that we're going to have a "Girl's Night Out". YAY!
We'll be seeing MENOPAUSE: The Musical. We're not old enough to be going through it yet, but it's supposed to be a laugh riot, so I'm REALLY looking forward to it.
I wikki'd MENOPAUSE: The Musical and here's what I found:
"Menopause The Musical debuted March 28, 2001 in Orlando, Florida, in a 76-seat theatre that once housed a perfume shop. The cast of four women shopping for lingerie at a Bloomingdale's sale sing 25 songs about chocolate cravings, hot flashes, loss of memory, nocturnal sweats, and sexual predicaments. The lyrics parody popular music from the baby boomer era.
Local references in the show are customised to the location of the performance; for example, the 'Dubbo Housewife' in Australia is a 'Waikato housewife' in New Zealand; and America's Bloomingdale's becomes Smith & Caugheys in New Zealand."
