Since I spent last Monday with my 'Paw Paw' in rural Alabama, no where NEAR a computer, I couldn't do last week's "Monday Memes" SO, here we go, a week late, but "better late than never", I guess.

When listening to music do you tend to focus more on the lyrics or the melody? IT'S ACCORDING TO THE SONG AND WHAT I'M DOING. IF I'M BLOGGING OR PAINTING, IT'S "BACKGROUND" NOISE. IF I REALLY LISTEN TO THE MUSIC FOR MUSIC'S SAKE, I LISTEN TO THE LYRICS. IT CHANGES WITH MY MOOD.

Since it's summer here in North America, the following questions are all about this season. Have fun and thank you all for playing! =)

1. In your opinion, what is the perfect summer daytime temperature? I LIVE IN CENTRAL ALABAMA, SO THE HUMIDITY IS THE KILLER HERE. WE HAVE TWO SEASONS HERE, FALL AND SUMMER. PERFECT WEATHER FOR ME WOULD BE 75 DEGREES WITH LOW HUMIDITY AND SLIGHTLY CLOUDY.

2. What is the perfect nighttime temperature? SEE RANT ABOVE ABOUT LACK OF SEASONS. "NIGHT TIME IS THE RIGHT TIME" WITH A TEMP OF 60 OR SO.

3. Do you plant many flowers around your yard? WE LIVE IN A CONDOMINIUM COMPLEX SO OUR "YARD" IS MAINTAINED FOR US. I DO HAVE SEVERAL CONTAINER GARDENS ON MY PATIOS AND FRONT PORCH, THOUGH.

4. How much lawn do you have to mow? Do you enjoy mowing lawn? SEE FIRST PART OF ANSWER OF #3.

5. Of the summer months, which is your favorite? JUNE. USUALLY, IT'S THE LEAST STIFLING. USUALLY!

6. Do you take a long vacation each summer? HECK, NO! WE'RE POOR, SO VACATIONS ARE NOT AN ANNUAL OCCURRENCE FOR US.

7. Is summer your favorite season? NO! If so, why? If not, why not? I ENJOY AUTUMN BECAUSE IT'S COOLER, FOOTBALL SEASON BEGINS AND I ENJOY WEARING BLUE JEANS, LONG SLEEVED SHIRTS AND THE HUBBY WEARS TURTLENECKS....YUM!
