Never heard of anyone doing that before--I sure don't--not regularly. I have been known to wash the dustpan on rare occasions when it gets really gross, but I've never washed the brush.
What can I say? Dust, dirt and kitty hairs get in the bristles. After a good soaking in ammonia and a through "scraping out", it's back to business as usual.
Oh well, thanks, Frances. Now I don't feel like a complete moron!
I'm a short, vegetarian girly-girl with shoulder-length brown hair, brown eyes and cute "tippie toes". My goal in life is to be a good mother/wife/sister/friend/whatever. I enjoy life and being with loved ones. God has blessed me so much and I praise Him daily for all that I have.

On the other hand, I'm TOTALLY NOT a neat freak.
I knew there was someone else who did that somewhere!

I wash mine fairly regularly. I thought I was the only one who did this haha
It feels like it all cleans better if it's clean too.
