Mike's nephew (and mine, too!) Jason, and his new wife, Heather, gave birth to their son, Jacob Parker, yesterday.

Jacob was born @12:30 p.m., Tuesday, October 17, 2006. He weighed 8 1/2 lbs. He was three weeks early but is doing wonderful (per Doctor Whittington). His mommy, Heather, is also doing well; thank you God!

Jacob has Heather's hair and facial features. He has Jason's nose, upper lip and ears.

He is PERFECT! We are all so happy, proud and excited for their new family. I can hardly wait to hold him again! I'm soooooooooooo excited for them! And it's so nice having a baby in the family. Good practice for me...?

I wonder what Parker & Tanja will be called? DEFINITELY not Granny and Paw (or so says Tanja).

What ever he calls will be perfect, just like him.
