Okay, so this one was kinda of reminded me of "how I used to be". Check out the differences.
WHAT A DIFFERENCE TEN YEARS MAKES!
THEN:AUGUST 3, 1996 NOW:AUGUST 3, 2006
1) How old were you?THEN: 17 NOW: 27
2) Where did you work?THEN: Yeah Right! I just did "stuff around the house".
NOW: Homemaker....since I broke my neck & had a stroke @ 25.
3) Where did you live?THEN: Highland Home, AL NOW: Montgomery, AL
4)How was your hairstyle?THEN: Long, straight, hair that hung almost passed my fanny.
NOW: 50's retro bob touching my shoulders. (Still dark brown.)
5) Did you wear contacts?THEN: Only glasses, I couldn't afford contacts.NOW: Still in glasses, I still can't afford contacts.....bummer.
6) Did you wear glasses?Please refer to previous answer.
7) What was your favorite TV Show?THEN: X-Files, Animaniacs, didn't watch much t.v., NOW: Good Eats, MAD TV, Iron Chef America, various Discovery, TLC & A&E shows.
8) Which of your pets were still alive?THEN: My baby: Morrison (an orange tabby kitty)NOW: My other baby: Cleo-Ann (Calico Kitty)
9) Who was your boyfriend/girlfriend?THEN: No One NOW: My husband, Michael.
10) Who was your celebrity crush?THEN: David Duchovny, Bruce Willis & Gary Oldman.NOW: The same, but replace Mr. Duchovny with Luke Wilson.
11) How many piercings did you have?THEN: I had 2 in my earlobes NOW: Same as before!
12) How many tattoos did you have?THEN: NoneNOW: None. I don't want to have some droppy-tail tatoo when I'm 90. No, thanks.
13) What was your favorite band/singer?THEN: Pearl Jam, The Doors Dave Matthews Band NOW: The Beatles, The Police, Ben Folds & Nickelback.
14) Had you smoked a cigarette?THEN: Once, at a friend's birthday party. I threw up because I inhaled too much at one time. Yucksville!NOW:Nope
15) Had you gotten drunk?THEN: Nope.. I was a good little girl.NOW: Only a few times. Everytime I am with my hubby and he takes care of me. Lots of water, so no hangover. Doesn't take much for me to get tipsy, so I know to avoid it when necessary.
16) What kind of car did you drive?THEN: 1989, Grey, four-door, Ford Escort named Fresno. She died in a fire and the only remainder of her was the steel radials of her tires..NOW: 2000, four-door, white Pontiac Sunfire & a 1991 white, four-door Chevy Lumina named Wilma. I also have a 1967 white Volkswagen Beetle which I haven't rode since I broke my neck.
17) Looking back, are you where you thought you would be in 2006?No. I thought I'd already have a child and that I would have a decent job. Those dreams went out the door when I broke my neck....
Kinda sad, but kinda nice, too. Despite some setbacks, I'm sure things will be just fine. I am extremely blessed just to be alive, somewhat normal and with my hubby/family & friends.
God has blessed me so much!
