Osmanthus, or tea olive, is my favorite smelling plant. I like it even better than rose or honeysuckle (which I adore).

They have been blooming here where I reside for about two weeks now. They're often used for lanscaping here in the South. They're all around our condo, especially our back patio. When I open the sliding glass doors, it's heavenly.

Before we were married, Mike had one outside his bedroom window in his apartment. I loved the way it smelled. It always reminds me of summer and sunsets........

I wish I could capture the scent, all year round.
