Isn't it interesting when you think how big and bulky machines used to be.....My computer printer probably is 100 times the quality of that one and it only takes up a 1 foot square area. Technology!
What a fantastic shot, and a mighty cool old press too. These old photos of our folks are really precious, arent they? Happy WW, I have a ringtail lemur up for mine today - Cheers!
I'm a short, vegetarian girly-girl with shoulder-length brown hair, brown eyes and cute "tippie toes". My goal in life is to be a good mother/wife/sister/friend/whatever. I enjoy life and being with loved ones. God has blessed me so much and I praise Him daily for all that I have.

That's an interesting old photo. what's the machinery?
Is that a printing press?
Yes, it is a printing press.
Pop worked setting type for the "Lowndes Signal", a newspaper in Lowndes County, AL.
He also set the type for a book, I believe. I'll ask "The Hubby", to be sure.
Thanks for stopping by! :)
