Saturday, Gea-Mom, Mike "The Hubby" and I loaded up and went to Santuck. (a flea market about 30 minutes from our humble abode) My momma got here at 6:00 am and we three drove off to find some deals.
Once inside, we saw all sorts of interesting things. I especially loved the farm animals. Here we are with the bunnies, chickens and ducks. Look at that duckling I am holding.
"I want one!"
Mike said no! :( Cleo-Ann would eat it for snack time....
Gea-Mom and I tried to go into the "jewelry tent". She and I love all things jewelry. We dove in, but much to our dismay, no one would MOVE! Ladies just stood there, in the way, talking and goofing it up. Which, of course, is FINE when I'm doing it. Not so hot when others do. I started getting "agoraphobic" (the fear of crowds), so we got outta there. I felt bad about denying Gea-Mom her jewelry fix, but I couldn't breathe! What do you think? Does this crowded to you?
"The Hubby" spotted this roadster, someone had brought to the flea market (to sell)? Anyway, it looked cool! All primer and cute white-wall tires. NICE!
Gea-Mom and Mike took at "pit stop" on this bench. It was made of a cypress(?) log. The back, seat and legs were from one log. It was stained a lovely blonde color. Very nice...Too expensive for us, but very nice.
Here I am with a "cutie-patootie" chihuahua puppy. I told Mike I wanted it, too. He said he didn't think Miss Cleo-Ann would be amused. He's right! Chihuahua puppies were all over. Mike snapped this picture of a cute little girl with a puppy. They're both adorable, don't you think?
After we left Santuck, we went to the smaller flea market at our Farmer's Market. I snapped this pics of jewelry, military memorabilia and glassware. Cool!
We all had a wonderful morning and after a yummy lunch at "Pizza Perfect", we all settled down to a much deserved rest.
It was a great Saturday morning, I hope to repeat soon!
