Last week, I went to my primary care physician, Dr. Lousia Tolentino. I had the beginnings of a head cold complete with fever, sinusitis and coughing. She checked my ears and discovered that the tube in my left ear had become lodged in my ear canal, vertically. She referred me to Dr. Stronach.

This morning, I went to Dr. Neal Stronach. He inserted ventilation tubes in both my eardrums 10+ years ago. This morning, he removed the tube and informed me that my left ear drum had collapsed. "Nothing to worry about, as long as you don't loose any hearing."

I never even knew there was a problem. I had no discomfort or hearing loss. If I hadn't gone to Dr. Tolentino, I never would have known there was a problem....Go figure.

If you, or your child, have frequent ear infections, or hearing loss, I suggest "tubes". They did a world of good for me.
