If you'd like to "Ten on Tuesday", check 'em out here: http://www.yanowhatimean.com/tuesday/
(I haven't done anything, so I'm going to list what I'm PROUD of...)
(No particular order here....these are all are great, to me!)
1. I got saved. I know it was more God leading me in the right direction, but I choose to do it.
2. I learned to walk again. After my stroke, I was in a wheelchair, supported by a walker and then used a cane. Now I can walk on my own; slowly, but without support!
3. I married my best friend. Mike and I celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary Friday. May 25, 2002, is one of the proudest moments of my life!
4. I became a vegetarian. I was 15 years old and after discovering EXACTLY how cows become hamburger, I quit "chowing" on animals. I've been a "veggie" for 13 years! (YES, I'm 28)
5. The day my Mother and Father asked me to be a "bridesmaid" at their 30th wedding anniversary. "The Hubby" and my sissy's fiance (now husband) were groomsmen. My parents are the sweetest, most generous, Godly people in the world and it was an extreme honor to celebrate their "special day" in such a great way. (No lip-service here!)
6. The day I graduated high school. It was bittersweet, but I was so proud. Not only did I graduate in the top of my class, I was "the best looking graduate up there" according to my mom!
7. The day my mother was cleared from her breast cancer. After radiation and chemotherapy, my mom was "cleared" and I was so proud of her. She was the most graceful cancer patient I've ever known. (No lip-service here, either!)
8. The day Michael said, "I think I'm in love with you". We were in his car, at a red light. He turned to me, squeezed my hand tightly and said this to me. Of course the waterworks started and they still do!
9. The day Michael began his job with the State. He was one of the top 5 computer techs in our state! I was so proud of him. After taking his test, Mike was informed of his ranking, so I was informed, in turn. Excellent benefits, better pay, lots of "days off". I'm sooooooooooo proud of him. It was, without a doubt, an answered prayer.
10. The night I got engaged. It was the sweetest proposal ever. Michael and I were so happy, and still ARE! (even if we had to wait 4 hours before telling my parents!)
See, not many accomplishments, but just the "tip of the iceberg" on what I'm proud of! Happy Tuesday, all!
