10 Songs That Make You Sad
1. "Your Song" by Elton John (It was in Moulin Rouge and that movie's ending ALWAYS makes me sad.)
2. "Glycerine" by Bush (Don't Ask)
3. "Where Are You Now?" by Janet Jackson (Yet another DO NOT ask song)
4. "Somebody" by Veruca Salt (Maybe not SAD, here, but DEFINITELY sentimental. My husband had it played for me at our wedding...)
5. "Little Wonders" by Rob Thomas (Something about it reminds me of my mother and her victorious battle over breast cancer.)
6. "The Space Between" by The Dave Matthews Band (It, of course, reminds me of Mike, my hubby.)
7. "Ghost Song" by Sting (This reminds me of one time when Mike and I had an enormous fight...)
8. "Hold On" by Sarah McLaughlin (Another song that reminds me of my mom's cancer fight.)
9. "Wind Beneath My Wings" by Bette Midler (This song reminds me of my parents, my sister, my best friend, my hubby. It fits with how I feel about these outstanding individuals.)
10. "Walk the Line" by Johnny Cash (OK, I know this is an odd choice. Maybe "SAD" isn't the word for this one either. Johnny Cash is one of my favorite singers. This song has always been a favorite, too! My hubby requested it for me one time and said "because she's my baby, I'll do all I can for her". Well, of course, the waterworks still go off when I hear it, ESPECIALLY after I watched the movie, WALK THE LINE)
Fun meme today, even if I'm a little "SAD" now.

Ohh, Walk the Line gives me the chills. It's like a weird pride feeling when I listen to it. Like... I don't know. Hard to explain. It's so nice to hear it.

I don't think I've heard "Walk the Line" in it's entirety unless it was in the movie...

My personal favorite "The Wing Beneath My Wing", the song reminded me of my friendship between my bestfriend who I've grown up with all of my life. I still love her today as I did yesterday. And her children is like newphew to me :)
